Injectable HA | Dermal filler

Dr. Tia Harper, DNP, preparing dermal filler syringes

Hyaluronic acid (HA) fillers are injectable treatments designed to restore volume, smooth lines, and enhance your natural facial features. HA is a substance naturally found in your skin that attracts and holds moisture, keeping it plump and hydrated. When carefully placed, injectable HA can define the lips, lift the cheeks, contour the jawline, soften folds around the mouth, rejuvenate the under-eye area, and more.

At Harper Haus Aesthetics & Wellness, our approach is focused on creating balanced, natural results—never overfilled or “done.” Each treatment is customized to your facial structure and goals, helping you achieve subtle enhancement and a refreshed, youthful appearance.

FAQs

  • Yes, all new patients must have a consultation. During your consultation, we’ll discuss your goals, review your health history, and take a close look at your facial features so we can create a treatment plan that feels natural and right for you. This helps us make sure your injectable HA treatment is not only safe but gives you results you’ll love!

Your consultation is complimentary with same-day treatment or if you book a future treatment the same day, as the fee will be credited toward your service.

  • Most patients find the treatment very tolerable. The fillers contain lidocaine (a numbing agent) to reduce discomfort, and topical numbing cream is applied prior to treatment for added comfort.

  • Results typically last 3–4 months for most patients. Longevity varies based on the product used, your metabolism, and the treatment area.

  • Results are visible immediately after your appointment, though mild swelling or bruising may occur and typically subsides within a few days.

  • While downtime is generally mild, it’s normal to experience some swelling, redness, or bruising at the injection sites. Swelling is typically most noticeable in the first 24–72 hours, especially for areas like the lips, and can take up to a week to fully settle. Bruising varies by person and can last several days. Most clients feel comfortable returning to work or regular activities within a day or two, but we recommend scheduling fillers at least 1–2 weeks before any major event to allow for complete healing and the best results.

  • Not at Harper Haus! Our approach focuses on natural, balanced enhancements, so you’ll look refreshed—not overdone. Every treatment is customized to your features and goals.
